For our patients who come to our dialysis center three days a week (average of four hours each) due to chronic kidney failure, transportation, combined with treatment fatigue, can become an extremely challenging process. At Bali Dialysis Center, we offer Free Patient Transport (Shuttle) Service with our latest model, air-conditioned, and comfortable shuttle vehicles in order to completely eliminate this stress of our patients and their relatives.
On your treatment days and session hours, it is guaranteed that you will be taken from your home door in the company of our specially assigned friendly drivers to our center and dropped back to your home with the same confidence and comfort at the end of the treatment. Our transportation logistics team, which plans Ankara’s wide transportation network and traffic in a way that minimizes its impact on patient health, gets you to your device on time and prevents unnecessary fatigue and waiting.
Standards and Maintenance of Our Shuttle Vehicles
All of our vehicles in our patient transport fleet are 100% compliant with the Ministry of Health’s Dialysis Centers Transport Directive and Highway standards, and have been specially designed only for the use of dialysis patients. The technical characteristics of our vehicles and our procedures applied are as follows:
- Continuous Climate Control (AC): Considering the body temperature adjustments of our patients who become sensitive before or after dialysis, our vehicles are cool in summer and warm in winter. Heating and cooling systems are purified by going into regular service.
- High Level of Hygiene: After each daily ring expedition (transportation tour), the insides of the vehicles are wiped with general surface disinfectants. Our chronic patients, whose immunity can be weak, are protected from infections by being deeply sterilized with detailed antiviral ozone generators weekly or periodically.
- Comfortable Seating Arrangement: Our shuttle seats are wide, ergonomic and with safety belts; they have physical distances to prevent our patients who have just come out of dialysis treatment or vascular access (fistula/catheter) intervention from being squeezed while sitting.
Support for Our Disabled and Bariatric (Mobility Restricted) Patients
At Bali Dialysis Center, we adopt the philosophy of “No patient can fall behind in their treatment because of transportation problems”. Our additional support staff serves as an assistant to our driver for our patients who have difficulty walking, use wheelchairs, or cannot move without a companion. At arrival at and departure from the clinic, the in-car transfer via our transport lifts (elevator) and our wheelchairs is provided safely without any risk, accompanied by our nurse and support staff.
Flexible and Punctual Route Planning
Shortest and least shaky routes are drawn by our center administration using completely digital logistics mapping software according to your residence address. While our shuttle vehicles take you from your door before your treatment hour, it does not give room for unnecessary waiting (extension of patient collection tours). Whether the home address is sufficient for our shuttle network for patients who want to be transferred is transparently evaluated in the first application.
Remember that this Transportation and Transfer service we offer to all our dialysis patients contracted with SGK assurance is completely “Free of Charge”. You are the guest of our friendly staff under the assurance of Bali Dialysis Center from the moment you say goodbye to your family and leave your door, until the moment you come to your door resting after your dressing is done at the end of dialysis.
